Dr. Carolyn Comer is a native of Birmingham and graduated from Auburn University and the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the prestigious National Jewish Center for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Comer is Board Certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Pediatrics, and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Comer has participated in numerous scientific medical studies and has been published in multiple medical journals, and has been active in research and patient education. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Comer is licensed to practice in Alabama, Oregon, and the State of Washington.

Dr. Comer is recognized in the area, practicing at Alabama Allergy & Asthma Center from 1995 to 2008, before pursuing her practice in Washington State. Dr. Comer has a passion for pediatric allergy, asthma, and immunology and enjoys helping patients with allergies and their families to improve their day to day quality of life. She loves talking to her patients and takes time to listen diligently and to understand them as individuals with very specific needs and goals for treatment.
